Core application
Section titled “Core application”The Anonomi core application is licensed under:
GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0)
This means:
- You are free to use, study, modify, and redistribute the software
- If you distribute modified versions, you must provide the source code
- Derivative works must remain under GPL-3.0 or a compatible license

Section titled “Third-party components”Anonomi depends on third-party libraries and tools, each with their own licenses.

Upstream project attribution
Section titled “Upstream project attribution”Anonomi derives from the Briar project.
Briar is developed by the Briar Project and licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0.
Anonomi modifies and extends Briar to explore alternative UX, deployment, and operational models. Any deviations or additional features are the responsibility of the Anonomi project and its contributors.
Anonomi is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Briar Project.
